Titanium Military question

#1

Post by Episteme »

Got a Titanium Millie when they were on close out sale from a reputable knife distributor.

My question is: seems like the coating on the titanium is quite fragile. It scratches easily, and comes off when rubbed.

I wiped it down with ballistol to see if that would rejuvenate it, and it seems just as faded.

Does anyone know what coating is on here? Anyone else notice this? It’s a great knife, beside the coating coming off.

Thanks

Thanks for the feed back. The blade is amazing. Feels like it could be a custom piece.

Yup, no coating. I think it is just a bead blasted finish. Mine has lots of “character”. Embrace it! :)
