I noticed no lanyard hole on these runs. I got the St.Nicks Delica and miss the hole.

Too rich for my blood and FRN is plenty light/tough for my EDC needs.

But great to see the Delica get some love! Maybe a run in the 20CV/204p/M390 family in the future. ;)

If this is constructed like the g10/pakkawood versions then I would be in for this. I do however wish it was in a different steel, considering that there have already been 3 or 4 hap40 variations. Do agree that it would look great with a dlc blade.

I love a Delica, and I love some carbon fiber. But this might be too much and the fact that it's hap40 again will probably make this a pass. Looks really nice though, I'll still be jealous as I check out the pictures in this thread.

Available now These are not available yet. I have not seen a drop date.

I would buy it if it came with solid superblue or Hap40 blade not laminated.

My favorite thing about the Delica has always been that it’s NOT fancy and just a solid little worker.

Gotta admit, it is a beautiful knife with the carbon fiber scales.

So what's up with all the Hap40? I'm not complaining, but Hap40 (if I understand it correctly) is a high-speed tool steel. We often pine for these premium steels, but they are not often rolled into the proper size and shape for cutlery application (plus all this Hap40 is laminated). I wonder why Seki City has so much Hap40 on hand.

I love CF...but already having the Pakkawood version, I'll have to pass. All the complaints about it being HAP40, do you guys not like that steel, or just want to see something different? I love that blade on the Pakkawood, only gripe is how easily it scratches, but man that steel can get silly sharp in a hurry!

Just out of curiosity, what is your method for sharpening Hap40? I just go the CS Endura, but haven't had the need to sharpen it yet.

I just recently got the Sharpmaker and trying to get the hang of it. Last time I sharpened my Hap40 Delica I used a medium grit bench stone, followed by the Sharpmaker Fine and Ultra Fine rods that I used freehand at the time.

Reminds me of the classic sprint run Delica 3 in carbon fiber, I like it.

HAP40 is my favorite Seki steel run so far, so this is probably best case scenario. Well other than K390. If this was K390 there would be no hesitation from me! Maybe they'll drop the price before release like they did with the Manix.

Not that anything is wrong with Hap 40 but my first thought was.. Oh look another Hap 40 Delica..Already own the burnt orange version..Yawn..no interest.

The K390 Police is made in the same facility..seems someone put two and two together "K390,,Delica,,K390,,Delica" = K390 Delica! Now that would have seriously gotten my interest.

For me, I want a lanyard hole, and have had it with soft cladding steels that scratch so easy. This blade would look crappy in no time on such a nice handle.
- best wishes, Jazz.
