What is that first one on the left? Looks like the Slyz Bowie but I didn't think it was that big.

The K2 is a beast. Very nice build quality. I would have grabbed one if they were backlocks or cbbl.

Wow sal thanks for the welcome and it's truly an honor to have your acknowledgment!
Also I edc this knife and it just seems to kick everything out of my pocket, I don't even feel like I need another knife, it's tough enough, strong enough and cuts good enough that it really can stand alone without any second thoughts.
Also the k2 looks beautiful!
And I also choose the p4 over the military when I bought it, mostly due to the fact I prefer the back lock, also I really wanted to try the k390
Deadboxhero how does the k390 stack against 10v?
I came here to cut sh#$ with my knives and chew bubblegum, and I'm all out of bubblegum

With Spyderco's HT, I like the K390 better. Takes a better edge. Deburrs better holds a very nice crispy apex. It's in my top three steels.

I designed the P4 for me and I carry one quite a bit. It's large and illegal in some places so I have to pay attention.

Hoping it's just as slim and the initial release is K390 :)

Between this and the Caly 3.5 FRN, I am really more excited for FRN than I have ever been.

You can for sure count me in on a frn p4, I really like the idea of the p4 frn, it's always so grippy and comfortable in hand at the same time, I'm about to buy a 2nd p4 g10 just to save and keep to have a nice perfect one stashed away

Nice! All I know is out of all the steels I've used and tested, k390 beats them all, tho I'm no expert either, just from my use and testing

I won't argue with that :D if I had to choose just one steel with the best overall edge performance it would be k390.

Which is difficult since Cruwear is nice with the extra toughness and ease of Sharpening, yet on the flip side Maxamet has alot more horsepower.

So hard to choose! :D

Just ordered one. New, but price cut seemingly because of patina. Hyped.

Actually, cruwear is one steel I've been wanting to try, along with maxamet, tho I've been told maxamet is chippy, it can't be worse then cpms110v which I've had to sharpen chips out of multiple times, tho it could be said I chipped 110v due to user error, it's chipped doing my usual daily habits, and k390 has not, also k390 just seems to hold a razor sharp edge for so much longer then even cpms110v

You'll really like the Cruwear, sharpens much faster then the k390 and really takes an edge that "pops" like the k390 but less aggressive.

The Maxamet can hold a hair shaving edge for a long time if down properly.
That extra hardness at 67hrc really comes in handy for that over steels like s110v that are closer to 60hrc and crammed up with globs of chromium reducing the stability and toughness. ( I still like s110v)

Of course Maxamet ain't no 3v :D

Will be more prone to chipping with user error then the k390.

Maxamet can be more picky with how it's Sharpened too.
But it's the top dawg in performance if you can manage the trade offs :D
