Sounds good to me, especially with peel-ply carbon fiber AND the current split spring NOT the older full length spring. There has been a lot of interest in bringing back a G10 version, but the older full length spring makes it very difficult to change the clip and/or reassemble. I prefer the FRN UKPKs, but updating the G10 to fit the split spring would be a worthwhile CQI.

It’s time to revisit a 52100 slip joint. I think UKPK with the drop point would be an instant buy. I think 2 mm blade stock would really be desired.

Normally not one for zombie threads, but I have to add my support for a Spyderco slip joint in a carbon steel. I'd love this to come out, but skip the carbon fiber. Pakkawood or g10 for a fancy knife, or frcp/frn for a budget knife. I'm in for either

Yeah I think FRN would be the way to go. A UKPK in 52100 would be hard working knife (for me at least) and I don't see the need for anything fancy. Plus I love the FRN pattern on the UKPK.

Anything with a handle that isn’t the colour of Lego is a win for me!

I’ve replied in a similar thread in here, I’ve also ordered a custom UKPK from elsewhere. I’m in for anything that has the PM2 options but is legal carry!
