Stick with the Spyderco sharping products, this way you know your new knife will get sharp correctly.

I use a sharpmaker 99% of the time for EDCs and kitchen knives. I also use a very large ceramic rod as a”steel” for the kitchen knives. I’ve recently started using strops for finishing, and because I bought a knife with a convex grind... I’m thinking about adding a Spyderco double stuff for variety.
