In a different conversation, that hardness quote included the disclaimer, "per Crucible's data sheet"

That means that they don't know. 4V can be hardened/tempered in a wide range per the datasheet, so it's not clear how they determined that it's 62.5-64 HRC.

There using the "as quenched" values on the spec sheet at the top.

Those aren't the tempered values. I'd expect to see 60-62rc from Spyderco

I got mine ordered. I'm glad that Spyderco has started to allow some red handles, instead of reserving red for Trainer models.
Which Knife, A or B? get Both! (and C, D and E) :)

They're going pretty quick. I was actually able to order one for myself. Now here's hoping I'll be able to sharpen it when the time comes.

You can't add 2 of them to your cart, but i am able to buy a second if you buy em separately. Not that i did cause i only need one. But people could abuse it.
