Wow. These sold out faster than the M390s as well as the original Jade M4. Might be the fastest sell out behind that one CPM154/s90v combo that barely counts because each dealer got like 2. That was an exclusive anyway. So yeah, probably fastest sell out for a sprint.

I was getting ready to buy, got called into a last-minute meeting at work that lasted several hours, they were all sold out by then.

Oh well, I do already have over 300 Spydies, and I'm just happy to even have a job at this point, after being out of work for over a year.

I'm sure Spyderco will make some more nice knives :).

Already have a CTS 204P and two M390 PM2 knives,, could not resist the excellent pricing.

Same. Was in a meeting, they were all gone when I got out. Since it's an exclusive, I assume DLT could make more if they choose to. Not sure if DLT has done that before, but I know KnifeWorks has. (Although the second run of the M4/CF PM2 seems to be selling really slowly for them, so that's always a risk, I guess.)

What I really want is for someone to do an upgraded Shaman already!

I'm really not surprised due to the price...I expected this based on what I see with Instagram-advertised drops on all sorts of stuff on a regular basis. DLT has 20k followers on there, so that's a pretty small percentage of stock available if even half of them are real customers.

DLT told me that's why they are afraid to do a Shaman exclusive - it would surely go over $200 with upgraded materials.

I'm not sure either...The machining of the handle is more complex, but other than that it seems like partially a business decision, maybe that they don't want it to steal sales from the PM2. I'm sure it has been discussed here by Sal.

I saw where the folks at ST.nicks had said the same thing about a shaman exclusive. Its not going to be a mom and pop shop exclusive. I’d say your looking at BladeHQ or Knifeworks for an exclusive shaman. they seem (at least to me) the only companies willing to risk capital on more than one exclusive at a time.

Yup, I think that's a safe bet. Or an in-house sprint from Spyderco, which is probably the most likely. Fingers crossed.

I totally got saved by a friend of mine who saw my post on here and bought two. I actually had no idea that he was even a knife guy, and was floored when I got back to a computer, found them sold out, and saw his email offering me his second one.

Huge win for this forum (and the SRBA alumni network). :)
