I had to cover for a co-worker on Labor Day - a 12 hour shift. I got bored and bought a Chaparral Lightweight on a whim.
I absolutely love this little knife. It may just end up being my favorite.
I have a regular Chaparral too. But the lightweight version takes it to a new level. I fear this may be even better than a Caly 3 (my absolute all time favorite)
Gray is one of my favorite colors for a knife - not too tactical like black.
And it fits in my hand perfectly. I usually carry a Native 5 Lightweight or sometimes a Delica. They have both been put away.
I think Spyderco really nailed it with the Lightweight version of the Chaparral.
Thank you.....
I love the Chaparral Lightweight

+1! I love the Chaparral Lightweight. I would love to see a full salt LC200N or H1 version in Yellow FRN or blacked out.

+1 This is the knife that sold me on frn scales. Really like the texture on these. They are the 'Goldilocks' of frn, not too slippery
not too grippy, just right. :)
