Future of the PowerLock
Re: Future of the PowerLock
Hope it’s used in more models. Don’t have a chinook yet, but it’s on the list.
Re: Future of the PowerLock
Makes me slightly irritated. At least we got the FRN Police coming.
Re: Future of the PowerLock
Bumping this up in hopes of Sal commenting on the future of the PowerLock.
Re: Future of the PowerLock
How about a specific question: do you think a power lock sage is likely?
Re: Future of the PowerLock
There were 2 specific questions in my original post.
Re: Future of the PowerLock
Is 2 the limit?
Re: Future of the PowerLock
Right now, zero is the limit. :)
Re: Future of the PowerLock
I still don't understand why the Police 4 didn't get this lock.
Re: Future of the PowerLock
Probably because “perfection is not when there’s nothing left to add, but when there is nothing left to take away.”
Spyderco definitely has a minimalist philosophy: nothing more than is necessary. I’m not saying a power lock police wouldn’t be awesome and a novelty, but does it make the police better? Not sure. And if it doesn’t make it better then don’t add parts.

Re: Future of the PowerLock
I'm very yin-yang about this and appeal to all extremes and middle ground about this debate. But for ease of function and because of alleged existing lock play I would love to see the Powerlock in use.tvenuto wrote: ↑Tue Sep 11, 2018 4:51 pmProbably because “perfection is not when there’s nothing left to add, but when there is nothing left to take away.”
