Along these lines, is PayPal OK? Using “friends and family” so I’d pay the fees of course, and make sure the whole donation amount goes where intended.

I can't speak for Spyderco, but it might pay to remember that Sal has asked that the checks be made out to the hospital, not to Spyderco. Not sure how that would work with PayPal. As for money orders, AFAIK they have to be cashed at the Post Office. So, at the very least, less convenient for the hospital. Don't know if it's still true, but I know years ago you could walk into any bank, give them cash plus a small fee, and get a bank check. Requires a bit more work on your part, but keeps things simple for both Spyderco and Children's Hospital.

I'm not in for the knife but I went ahead and donated via credit card using the link on the website at the hospital. I like what they do and feel it's worthwhile but just a note for others if you do it the way I do on the website be prepared for the donation requests they send a few times a year.

I've decided that every time I find myself contemplating donating to politicians or political parties I'll give to a real worthy cause instead. :)

I'm familiar with Mondrian. For my first two years in college, I was an art major (before switching). Great study.

Did you end up in engineering? That would explain a lot.

Biology, optometry, accounting, engineering, anthropology and ended up with Psych and Philosophy. All help.

Actually learned something through here about Mondriaan, wanting to make a joking comment about the spelling of his name I checked wether he never changed it himself and apparantly he did when moving to France and kept using Mondrian with 1 a abroad. I also use my second given name Mo abroad since it's simple enough for anyone in the world to not screw up pronouncing it so I can imagine it was easier for him and you guys apparantly are right after all calling him Mondrian.
Also learned he lived at several adresses in the same neighbourhood that I spend the first 13 years of my live in, even get to learn about Dutch artists through this forum. :D
