Okay, smooth white bone, so I can scrimshaw it.

Yes, and if you have the clip and don't want it, you can always take it off. It's much harder the other way around.

I have no desire to clip a tiny little knife like the Manbug to a pocket. But, for those that would like one, something like the clip on the Gent might work well.

Now, I like that kind of thinking.

Black and red jigged bone with nickel bolsters.
Black ebony with nickel bolsters.
Perhaps a colored hurl.
Hmm.
The bone idea is really getting to me on this one. But so is the maroon micarta with bolsters.

Probably true, as long as you have a Ladybug. You do need one or the other. Both is best though.

Well I got a pleasant surprise today - the three Manbugs I ordered arrived weeks ahead of schedule!
This is my first experience with both Super Blue and HAP40. Also my first sprint knives. I'm looking forward to using them! All NIB, solid lockup and smooth action. Very pleased so far.

I was particularly interested in this one:
After hearing all the love for Super Blue, and having missed out on the original run, I was really anxious to give it a try. This knife is sort of a palliative for me until the Calypso Jr sprint drops. :)
What little I have seen of the steel impresses me. It seems to
want to be sharp. Made a few swipes on the brown rods at 40°, touched it on a 50,000 grit diamond paste strop, and it was so sharp it couldn't even whittle free hanging hairs anymore - as soon as the blade touched the hair it popped in half.
Edit to add:
I forgot to mention that this SB Manbug unfortunately came with a considerable bit of vertical blade play. Not enough to keep me from using it, but I'm going to be thinking about it every time I use the knife (until I get used to it). It's a minor irritation but I can't help but wonder if a beefier pivot system might alleviate this problem.
