I'm curious if any of you at Spyderco are able to comment on expected release time frames for knives in LC200N. Many of the online knife stores have them listed for sale, but not yet available...and it's been this way for several months. Just curious when to expect them...I know I'm not the only one who is eagerly anticipating their release. :)

I'm eager to try Lc200N in my favorite platform, the Native 5.
I'm currently in love with the Caribbean, but I want to see if its the knife design I'm swooning over or just the steel. It's insanely sharp and stays that way with a few passes over the fine rods every 2 weeks or so.

Same here my man. I literally think about this one a few times a day. Maybe I should seek help. Is there a cure for Spydieholism?

Like most of what we do at Spyderco, there is a great deal that goes on behind the curtain. Research, testing, study, strategic planning, etc. LC200N is custom made for us and we have a great deal being made in a variety of thicknesses. We tested with a few models, then a larger run with the Caribbean, and there is much more in-the-works. (kitchen knives, Swick 5 warnie, etc.)

Sal, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do a full set of kitchen knives in LC200N(no hole would be great), with a Spydie butcherblock!!! I will pay you many, many dollars! I would buy two for myself and probably a few more as gifts.

Sal you made my day, week, month and probably year as far as exciting announcements goes :D :spyder:

For me the DF2 is almost perfect. If there was going to be a DF3, I would add 1/5 of an inch, to maximize the blade length but still keep it under 2.5”, and I would move the wire clip further to the end of the handle to make it truly deep carry.

LC200N in PE with bright red scales and full liners would be a great addition to the current DF2 or a future DF3.

How about a blacked out D'Fly Salt in H1 SE and H1 PE? Ive seen a lot of people ask for this. This is something i'd really buy a few each of for how great of a deal these knives are. The D'Fly Salt was my first Spydie and still my second favorite model behind the Native.

An lc200n dragonfly would be at the top of my list always. A small blade that is so light as to barely be noticeable yet invaluable. The dragonfly salt was my first spyderco and still my favourite. Perhaps an exclusive sal, lc200n and the great dragonfly design, an unbeatable combination. I live in hope that such a wonderful combination between a great design and a wonderful steel will one day come to fruition.

THE perfect summer EDC knife.

Manix2 Salt in LC200n would be a dream for me right now. The hardware on my S110v is starting to rust (blade is fine).

I think they'll sell a gazillion of the Native 5 LC200N. I want one.
