Okay, I know this isn't likely to happen, but...
I really love my Micarta S.P.O.T. The only thing I can think of that would improve it is to make it from Talonite or Stellite. VG-10 is great stuff, and it does not rust easily, but a neck knife is subjected to some of the worst possible conditions for steel and Talonite is impervious to them.
What would it take for Spyderco to do a limited run for those of who are sufficiently crazy to want this? How many others would be interested?

I've been wondering if we'll ever see a Stellite bladed spydie. And titanium dual liners with G10 (or even CF) scales

ken: Thank you! My collection is rather small by knifenut standards, but I try to keep it trimmed back to blades I might actually use someday. (The only exceptions are a few that were gifts.)

Sal: You give me hope! I will keep my fingers crossed that the S.P.O.T. sells like crazy and makes a Talonite version seem obvious.
Thanks!
And I agree with dialex that it would be great to see a Spyderco in Talonite eventually. The S.P.O.T. just seems like the one that should lead the way.
