why no buy, sell, trade section?

#1

Post by ladybug93 »

it seems like people here would want to buy, sell, and trade knives pretty often, but i don’t see a space for that anywhere. is it forum policy to not do that here?

It is their policy. As much as I enjoy some horse training, I wouldn't want it to spoil the feel of the forum.

i figured that must be it. it didn’t make sense that there wasn’t a section to do so otherwise. i looked around for a forum policy sticky, but i didn’t see one.

thanks, all that answered.

Hi Ladybug,

Welcome to our forum.

It's not really posted anywhere. We (I) felt the forum would be better without it.

Check toward the top of each sub-forum (section). There's a pink bar labeled "Forum rules".

Sharp Guy,

Thanks for the tip about the forum rules bar. Somehow, I hadn't noticed it yet. It seems to be mostly common sense rules, but it's good to know it's there.

I love that this forum Does Not have a buy, sell, trade. Kind of boring seeing all the post on BF where they ask an astronomical price (sometimes) and then have to multi post about lowering or withdrawing. I find this forum to be incredibly informational and supportive towards the knife collecting/usage hobby.
