Chinook questions

I'm confused.
Dr.Snubnose did some meat tests on the Chinook II (flat grind) aka Chinook III in 2006:

He compared it to earlier test on the Chinook II (hollow grind) and found the hollow grind superior to the flat grind for slashing.
On the other hand, James Keating in a 2006 interview stated the flat ground III superior to the hollow grind II in slashing:

As far as stabbing penetration, the only thing I've found is a 2010 youtube video (in Russian) of a Chinook III versus some sort of unidentified kevlar or soft body armor:

I like the basic design of the Chinook but would like to get the sharpest, pointyist pencil in the box.
Should I get II (hollow grind), III or IV, both flat ground? I don't care enough about other improvements (lock, weight etc.) to base a decision on them.
Any advice or other testing that may be out there?
