I might be the only one, but blade and scale color are minor considerations to me compared to steel. So what is the steel already?!! Sorry, got impatient

I have been waiting for Spyderco to use more greens and browns. To get them both in the same knife is a win for me. I am not particular about steels, although I am glad it is not s30v.

I wish more places would come up with different things on their exclusives. It does get boring see everything with the same steels and colors. BHQ's natural g10 with M4 was great at first, because it was new. Now they are saturating the market with every knife line having the same things.

Either way I will almost certainly buy this. I just hope it doesn't sell out before I do.

It seems like a very reasonable price for a 204p Para 3 with a coated blade. However the color is a bit strange. It's like a tribute to camouflage? I don't think OD green and FDE are generally used together, one being a jungle/foliage color and the other a desert color. I suppose the black hardware could be a tribute to "urban" camouflage that is shades of grey. It does seem like a very usable and unique knife at a great price, though.

Amazing price point but I’m not sold on the coloration.. I suppose you could always rit dye the handle black and then I think I would like it more..

Good price and all, but my wallet thanks me that this just doesn't appeal to me. Have been wanting a knife with 204P steel, but I have to pass on this format.

Pre-order page is active, I just placed my order,,,, the shipment from Spyderco to River's Edge is today.

Blade is CTS 204P,,, excellent choice.

Not certain about the colors for blade and G10 however, it is an interesting combination at very attractive pricing.
