Modifying a rare Cruwear Para 3 causes minor aches. Not to worry.

I didn't realize at first but the one on left is the Sprint Run orange version and on the right is the original yellow handled variety. Nice blades!

Some people here view Sprints as investments that should be kept in a safe instead of used as tools.

Thanks for the commiseration, but it's rarity doesn't make my coloring it painful for me. I like it enough that it's not going anywhere, allowing for guilt-free dying. :D
Also, when I stripped the red, it got near enough to the original grey. I'm happy with it.
Here's a quick pic from page 2 of this thread:

Some people here view Sprints as investments that should be kept in a safe instead of used as tools. So they see modifications only as a loss of market value.
I use it, so it's resale value won't hold like a safe queen. I never expect to sell it anyway, so it allows for guilt-free dying. :D

If I see a knife I really like, I'll buy it. If I want to carry it then I buy 2.

So this was my first attempt with Rit Dye.
I had scored a deal on an M4 Shaman, the jade scales had been dyed a shade of tangerine orange that wasn’t to my liking. So after two soakings of acetone and a batch of rit color remover i decided to dye the scales Rit Teal. After 15 minutes in the teal dye i had a beautiful forest green. Below is the result
