Nose hair and Spydercos...

#1

Post by marinedad02 »

Two things I found late in life...nose hair and Spydercos. Nose hair, because they just appear and Spydercos - still working on that. Carried a K-Bar for years because it was issued and had a Benchmade in my pocket everyday since I retired, because I thought only Benchmades existed. I just stumbled upon SPYDERCO, and have my first two models (Stretch 2 and Gayle Bradley 2) being shipped right now and will be delivered today. Can't wait to see how they perform.

Hi Marinedad02,

Welcome to our forum and thanx much for your service.

I did get your email, I guess this post is your answer?

I believe your selections were a good "try-it-out". Gayle is an excellent designer and custom maker and the Stretch 2 is mine.

Believe it or not, I too have discovered nose hair and I'm am personally working on a design solution.

Welcome to the forum. You made two great choices! Both excellent knives.

Also, I have a theory that when men go bald that the hair isn't actually falling out. It is just going back in and coming out other places. :D

^Haha! That’s what George Carlin referred to as “senile hairs.” They forget to grow where they’re supposed to, and do grow where they’re not.

Enjoy those knives OP! Good ones indeed.

Isn't the answer always Maxamet? We need some edge retention for all the cutting we will be doing. Those are great blade choices I don't think you can be disappointed with any Spydie. Make sure to post pics and let us know your first impressions!

If the hair on my head was as thick as the hair on the rest of me I'd be a model. One thing I know is that a very sharp Dragonfly is NOT a good nose hair trimmer! Sal, if you can come up with a good solution, I'd be all for it.

REAL Men have lots of nose hair.
BTW, a serrated blade wouldn't "cut it" !
