Frn police?!
Oh yeah!
Oh yeah!

I feel like I need to snag one of the g10 ones. 64-65 is pretty awesome. My mule performed very well so I imagine this would be great.

Frn k390 police 4? Yes yes yes. I've been going back and forth on the G10 P4 or the new v-toku2 endura. Assuming the price is somewhere in the middle of those 2, I will wait for this to drop and buy instantly.

Sal, are there any plans for a stainless P4?
I have a decade old Police 3 in my pocket right now. I'm about to the point I want to retire it. I have a back-up Police 3 I could carry, but I was hoping the upcoming FRN Police 4 would be stainless. That's my dream EDC.
I could also go for a DLC K390 Police 4.
I'd have a P4 in my pocket right now if either of those options were available.
I'm already excited to try the regular P4 since it's a full ounce lighter...can only imagine what you'll pull off with the FRN model. Guessing it'll be around 3.75-4oz.
Re: Police 4 (K390) HRC?
Maybe some history?
We made the first Clipit in 1980. We had no money so we hocked our house to pay for the first run. Everyone said we'd fail, even Al Mar. It was slow selling, new concept and all. Then we made the Mariner. A serrated sheepfoot. The Police liked the model. but wanted one with a point. Now we're talking. I could design a model for me! I was going to call it LaSalle, but I decided it was too egocentric and it was for the Police, so I called it the PIG. Pride, Integrity and Guts.
The new Police 4 was designed by me for me. I've found that some of our customers like the models I designed for me.
Pure Performance! I like Killer's description of F1. It fits.

Is this for real? I've always wanted a police. This would push me over the edge especially with k390.

Re: Police 4 (K390) HRC?
Any chance of a run of Partial Serration? I am in the minority for liking them, but I do find them to be quite useful, and use my secondary edc (Gerber EDC) for when I would need edge close to the handle. I think I got one of the last run of ComboEdge Military. Partial serrations let you saw through things that a knife in that size class cannot easily cut, but without carrying two separate knives. As much as I like the concept, I just cannot tolerate the ergonomics of the Dyad.|
Edit: I also like the wider belly of the Police 4 over the 1st generation G10 Police (Police 2?)
Re: Police 4 (K390) HRC?
DLC yes that would be so pretty, I'm on the fence about getting one of these (considering just buying a used one off eBay) but a DLC coating would change that ambivalence to HECK YEAH.

Wow!!! A lightweight Police model in K390 will be awesome!
Lately all I’ve been carrying are frn models, I like g10 but the lightweights feel so much better in pocket.
The new LW Police model will be perfect if it comes with a wire clip but I’m sure that isn’t happening.

Thanks Sal!
62.5 doesn't surprise me at all :)
I think VG-10 would be a great steel for an FRN Police 4. I'd certainly buy one. Black or other low key color please!

Thanks for the info! That's a great little blade. Gonna send it off to you all this weekend to try to get the pivot screw issues sorted, but I sure did love it when I could carry it and I'm excited to carry it again! I love it as an office knife.
