Just got the new VG10 version of the Viele and my opinion is reinforced that it is definitely the sexiest and most tactile of the collabs. The Starmate and Moran(old) are also very well conceived/executed blades.

Butt, I love the feel of micarta.

My favorite is definately the Howard Viele, but I also like the Jess Horn, Peter Herbst, and Wegner.

I agree completely with Dexter Ewing. There is no such thing as a bad collaboration knife, but the Wegner and the Starmate are standouts to me. I am also anxious to try the Chinook and the Chinese folder.

My favorites: Shabaria (play knife), JD Smith (daily carry), Tim Zowada (once-in awhile-backup carry), Peter Herbst (fondle knife), Lum Tanto (just in case), Large Tim Wegner(when I need to do serious cutting).

The new Viele is my favorite but there are hardly any Spydercos that I absolutely don't like.

I like the new Bagwell Helles Belle by Spyderco, the step up from the excellent Chinook. Either the 5.5" blade concealment model, or the big one.

Ooops, I forgot it was a secret project.

The Wegner is not only my favorite collaboration, but one of my favorite knives period!

If I could just get one with VG-10, eccentric pivot, bigger spydie hole, and the cobra hood I wouldn't have to buy another folder <img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>

A Spyderco fixed blade Wegner would also be up there among my list of favorites.
