I showed my wife. She rolled her eyes. I need to share with someone who really cares... my forum friends! Here’s a teaser. Will provide more details tomorrow. For now it’s Miller Time.

Blade and hardware swap between to m4 exclusives. My first RIT due job turned out pretty cool. I saw the bladehq video of the natural g10 dyed to a translucent blue and wanted to try the same. The black carbon fiber and dlc m4 is also superb.

Man, that is nice. What color RIT and how long, what method (boiling, added salt, added vinegar, etc)? I ordered some Navy liquid RIT and I am going for a similar look. Also ordered some other colors for some other scales, but I will post those in a new thread when completed!

Thanks the pics really don’t do it justice. It really is something unique.

Cleaned scales with iso prop alc. 2 cups distilled water. 1 tbls of rit synthetic sapphire blue. Kept water at even 95 degrees Celsius. Jigged the scales in the dye for 2 minutes. Rinsed with cold water.

Came out great! The M4 DLC and CF is my favorite PM2 to date.

Agreed. The pics you posted a while back was a bit of inspiration for this little project.
