I was enticed to purchase another brand knife by a great deal offered on another forum. Yesterday at 2:00pm EST, the UPS guy makes the much anticipated delivery, and I immediately open the package. What a disappointment. This well known name brand, very highly touted in some circles, was NO WHERE near the quality I've come to take for granted from Spyderco.
I immediately repackaged the knife as I called the dealer to arrange it's return for exchange. Within 15 minutes, I had the knife back at the UPS office. Now I sit, not so patiently waiting for my next Spyderco to arrive.
If I start to digress again, somebody slap me, PLEASE.
