The Dfly comes in many flavors. Which is your favorite?

Tell us what you picked and why!

You can only pick one but you CAN change your mind :D

Still don't have a Dragonfly of my own! :o
I've purchased them as gifts, but unfortunately none for myself yet.

Still have my eye on the Hawkbill model and the burnt orange HAP40 model. FWIW ;)

ZDP BRG, but orange VG10 has seen the most use.

VG-10 Black FRN.. because that's the only Dragonfly that I have. Great little knife, especially as we enter summer & shorts season.. nice and light in the pockets!

I love the Salt yellow color but could not get my dulled H1 PE back to sharp.
Therefore I changed the blade to VG10.

I have three: the Nishijin glass fiber / ZDP 189 version (gentleman's folder that stays at my office); serrated SALT H-1 version (for water adventures); and the Burnt-Orange Hap40 (which gets dropped in my pocket, sans clip, throughout the warmer summer months).

I voted Burnt-Orange Hap40: the blade seems slightly thinner than other FRN versions I've seen. And how can you not LOVE that steel...

I voted Pakkawood even though I don't own one. It's just such a beautiful little knife all around.

The only Dfly I own is the Salt SE version. It's a great knife.

I have only two and much prefer the G10, mostly because of its (over)build quality.

This quality would make it a regular alternative for me, even for hard-use, but for the grip. I can't make it comfortable in my largish hands, so I rarely use it.

What I can make comfortable is the Urban, which now has me both questioning the need for a lock on a small knife, and welcoming its lack of a lock for travels outside the US and in some US cities...

Hard to pick just one, I've got seven of these little guys and love them all. I voted Hawkbill for my favorite as it gets the most use.

I currently have 4 and, once again, it's tough for me to pick just one. I like them all!

I chose the HAP40 burnt orange sprint simply because I use that one way more than any of the others.

At the risk of being tarred and feathered ... I’m not a fan of the Dragonfly. :o

I look at mine and can’t help thinking the blade would best be suited on the end of an arrow shaft.

Having said that my little DragonHawk is an absolute special. It’s the perfect size for cleaning the fish I target, a perfect specimen and currently my favourite SE HB.

Voted Super Blue of course, may change after the new VTOKU drops, we'll see. I must admit though, the Pakkafly sure is a beauty

I think steels like HAP40, Blue, ZDP, etc. all sound super. Never had anything more exotic than S30V. The “super” steels tend to drive knives out of my price range. However, I like VG10. It’s been good for my uses and since I bought a Sharpmaker I can keep them reasonably sharp.

My vote goes to the Dragonfly Zome. Steel choices aside, I think the Dragonfly is the premium design for small folders.

If I were in the market for one, it would be the Pakkawood, beautiful scales! Currently only own one of my own build...

My favorite is the Foliage Green G10 version. My second favorite (I was not allowed a secondary choice) is the Nishijin model. These are two wonderful renditions of the Dragonfly.
