Hi Everyone

Just found this message board recently, I got my first Spyderco about a month ago, nice to meet you guys! I’m amazed with the quality and care. Thanks to everyone at Spyderco for making the Chapparral in FRN so I could afford it, I needed a pocket knife and it felt like my first real knife, and I’m 33, lol. After reading a bit here and seeing such a great community of great folks this this knife led me to I might just be more excited about the community I just joined than the knife! Anyway, I’m hooked already looking for #2

Welcome! Time to learn the sharpening process and practice (maybe on a $4 walmart knife at first). You may get hooked on sharpening as well.

Kodai78, nice to meet you :) My head is spinning with all the new knives I’ve seen, I think the Shaman is next, but then the Manix...I’m a cook so I could sure use that as an excuse to buy the spydiechef, lol..who knows but I’m sure it will serve me well.

I can defiantly feel the addiction, lol. Everytime I look at the catalog I find myself almost having to hide my wallet from myself, lol. I imagine I’ll have quite the collection when it’s all said and done :)

Welcome kodai78! They're not kidding when they say hang onto your wallet. I joined the forum and bought my first Spyderco 4 or 5 months ago, and now I have 5 Spydies, and I still need more. Lol :)

Sal, I can't help it. :)

Joking aside, I'm continually impressed with the uniqueness of Spyderco. No other knife company even comes close to offering the variety and quality that Spyderco does.
