Today I scraped corroded electrical connections, cut some summer sausage and cheese, cut/cored/peeled an apple and a pear.

We have rattlesnake round-ups in west Texas. They usually have a BBQ and rattlesnake cook off.
It seems a lot of things taste a bit like chicken... frog legs, gator, snake, armadillo, etc.

This afternoon I rescreened the patio. Used my Manix 2 LW Maxamet to cut the spline and trim the screen. Knife started out very sharp and finished the same way.

Re-profiled my S110v Paramilitary 2 and nib 4V mule, that seemed too dull to be new, to 30 degrees on the Hapstone. Only took around 2 hours...thank you Spyderco diamond triangles!

On a side note I may need a new rotator cuff.

I’ve got some marinating in the fridge here for dinner tonight, mate. I’ll send you up a taste, lol. ;) :D

After thinning out and sharpening the Waterway, I’ve been giving it a run in the kitchen. It actually works really well. Excellent design and that LC200N is amazing stuff - it takes a wicked keen edge.

Sliced up a bunch of vegies with it last night, but don’t have any action photos.

Ah, hahaha! Funny Buggers you Victorians.

On a serious note, the Waterway’s a bit of a special and I’d be interested to know how it performs with the thinned edge next time you drop a Sambar. :)

I’m hoping to give mine a bit of a run next month on some fat lambs.

Nice one! ;)

Yep, it’ll definitely be going into the hunting and meat processing blade kit, along with the Stretch and the Bradley Bunch.

Here’s a quick pic after cutting, trimming and bagging the cuts from the last Sambar:

Looking forward to hearing how the Waterway goes on those spring lambs. Are you going to do a side by side comparison with the Sprig?

Yes for sure, but not so much to compare blade steels, more the knives themselves. I’ll chuck the Junction in the mix too mate.

The last I bloodied a knife on anything other than fish was taking a fox’s tail with a little ZDP-189 Manbug not long after I joined the Forum. :)

Good stuff Bloke. Yeah my little ZDP-189 Dragonfly might well have done the most work out of all my Spydies.

That'll be a good comparison of some excellent models, mate.

Harvested some lighter for backyard campfire season, as soon as the temp drops enough to be able to sit by a fire!

^ Smart move not using the tip. I've done the same thing with paint cans.

I used my Manix XL to slice some steak up for steak tacos. Hands were too bloody to want to take photos :D
