HA! We have tons of that same stuff at my work too. Just cut some myself last week. We use it as a spacer to ship between finished product on our rail cars, to reduce possibility of damage. Fun stuff to cut, bet that Canis loves it ;)

This was being used for packing between freight, but in a container to go on rail. The Canis blade was fine.
This was slightly different than the normal stuff of this sort that we use. It had a very hard outer on one side with a thinner on the other side.
Our normal boards are even thicker again which is why I like having a longer blade at work, though they just have a thin cardboard paper outer on each side. Canis would have been too short for them.

Always like to keep these somewhat inappropriate uses... like using a Schempp Rock to cut a single piece of scotch tape off a box of candy.

I think 90% of my knife usage is cutting a single piece of tape from a package of some sort. Now let me consider how much I have spent on these tools for this piece of tape.

I did some impromptu pruning with my close-out Caribbean sheepsfoot SE. I suppose I could have used my teeth that I was given for free. :shush

Fortunately, I find some intrinsic value in Spydercos, otherwise, this would disturb me. I've actually had similar thoughts recently. I need to find more stuff to cut I guess. 🤔

I should have taken pics, but I used the slicey little ARK to dissect sashimi tonight. The Hotategai was particularly excellent.

I've been carrying and using my K390 Endura for everything the past few months. I should try to get some pictures again!

This is why a mountaineering Spydie is mandatory - would have been completely lost on yesterdays hike without my Pac Salt - how on earth could I ever have eaten my lunch without it?! :winking-tongue ;)

My neighbor has an overabundance of large oranges on her tree (this happens every year), and she always offers large bags of them to me. I've been using my UKPK Salt SE to peel them and core out the bottom ends. Works perfectly!
