Used my Pacific Salt last night to help rip up old carpet. I sawed through probably 30 - 40 feet of it. Wow. It didn't totally wreck the edge, but it took awhile to bring it back even with a microbevel.

I was building up metal storage cabinets with a coworker last night. I handed him my K390 Dragonfly to cut the plastic straps and tape to open the boxes. Once we were finished building the cabinets, I cut up the boxes so they'd fit in the recycling bin.

I just got the Dragonfly this week and when I touched up the edge on the Sharpmaker I found that the grind angle is very close to 30° inclusive. This made it a breeze to remove the grind lines on the bevel, and after adding a 40° micro-bevel on the edge, this one is a slicer.

Well, this evening I noticed the dog moving around kinda funny (as in a different kinda funny than normal because he’s a dog and they always move around kinda funny)…he had somehow grown some monster fur dreadlocks up between his hind legs.

The only tool I had available was my chaparral, which I had luckily already finished using to slice some cheese while out on our daily beach walk.

Good grief! I just found another dread…this one started by a sappy pine needle, on the dog’s leg. I was on the couch icing my knee and the only thing in reach was my Para3 LW.

Thank you! I did a couple last year for carving contests and had a blast. Knew I wanted to do some again this year. Also, I'll have to add this one to my list because I have a few shots in the "calendar queue" right now!
