Seems like it's the day of the Chief today. Trimming leather.

Thank you! For simple stuff all I use are these "forks" and a rubber mallet:

But you could even start with an awl or a dremel. I glue it all together beforehand. ;)

Cut up some cardboard for the recycle bin using the Salt 1 PE with the “vivi edge” I recently put on it. Excellent cardboard slayer now.

I chopped up some beef, and sliced an onion with my K390 Endura. Great knife.

First time using the spyderedge hawkbill salt fly to cut up cardboard, it works just fine. However, where it really shined was cutting up this styrofoam- holy ****.

I actually ran a little test between two dragonflies and two fixed blades, and while my sharper plain edge knives cut cardboard better, the salt fly tore through the styrofoam like a laser.
I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.

Nice knife and going by some of your pictures, it seems like you use the heck out of it. Good to know what that steel is capable of. 👍

Used my Native Chief to open this bag of feed. Yes, the bag does have the easy-open/stitch-close string at the top but why use that when you can use your Spyderco?

I feel your pain. 50/50 shot and I’m almost always wrong.

No pictures, but I've been using my re-ground K390 Endura a lot lately. This morning I diced some potatoes and onions for breakfast, along with a habenero pepper. At work, among other things I cut another bucket in half (the old Meat Man challenge ;) ) It has been holding up well; the edge strops back quickly on my WE 1 micron diamond strop.

Another day, another 500 crostinis cut with my SE zcut.

Gotta take it to the belt sander today. At some point this week I managed to snap the very tip off.

Cut down a bunch of cardboard boxes this morning, opened a couple boxes including a new faucet for our kitchen, and now this, for the grill:
