Burning some brush this morning, used my MagnaMule to help cut up some of the smaller stuff.
The chainsaw and leaf blower handled the rest lol.

Trimmed excess expanding foam from around the new front door. Then proceeded to slice my thumb. That UKPK Salt SE is pretty darn sharp.

I tried to poke a hole in my floor at work. Knife lost The toughness of Cruwear/Z-Wear is on display here, the impact just bent to tip over. Obviously it didn’t survive bending back…
So I went to town with the cbn stones, getting the tip all deburred. I’ve no intention of sharpening away enough edge to recover the tip, and don’t really want to drop the spine either. That’s a lot of work to do manually and I’ll not take it to the belt sander.
Mostly all better. I’ll get a point on it eventually with enough use.

that would be a 30 second fix on a sander.
Victorinox chef knife getting the real action today. Just broke down 20 salmon into filets and skewers with it. But the zcut got a few odd jobs.

A surprisingly very busy day for the Manbug Wharnie. Opened a K cup, picked a clogged toilet cleaner bottle top, cut some frayed outdoor carpet material, opened a bag of dog food, cut open some plastic packaging for our ribs for dinner tonight and cut some dead leaves off a few house plants.

Re: What did you use your Spyderco for last?
Here's what I cut last with my knife. I was cutting a giant onion, trying to keep the lines straight, while using a dinky little Mule. I've been having fun using the Z-Wear Mule for everything in the kitchen. The moral of the story is "Use the right tool for the job." I'll still use the Mule in the kitchen, but only when it's appropriate for the task at hand.
When you cut yourself with your razor-sharp knife, all that red stuff is the dumbness leaking out. You come away smarter.
The other little task from yesterday was with the K390 Police 4 LW. I was putting a wifi-enabled electrical switch into a plastic waterproof junction box in the yard. The fit wasn't right, so I needed to carve away some of the hard plastic. There turned out to be quite a bit of carving to get everything just right.
Later that night, I put the blade under the 'scope. I couldn't see any signs of chipping or dulling. The knife would still shave hair off my arm. I was quite pleased, as other steels would have showed some kind of damage.

I'm jealous of that cat. Kangaroo is my favorite meat. I don't get too many opportunities anymore.

Trimmed back one of my rose bushes with an M4 Native. For some reason I felt compelled to get one of these to beat up right good this year... not that M4 needs to be proven in any way, but I want to really use it a lot and get to know it. It's one of those steels that I have not really put through its paces to my own satisfaction.

I had tree limbs to pick up so that the grass can be mowed. I saw all sorts of ne'er do wells out and about as I went about my business and managed to hold them all off with my Spyderco Native Chief in S90V!
