Little bit of yard work and mowing while it's not raining. Quicker than getting loppers from the shed:

I just used my PM 2 52100 ComboEdge to sculpt some Shoe Goo that I put on my hiking shoes yesterday. I've used a Chaparral in the past, but thought I'd try something with a bit of a SpyderEdge on it. The SpyderEdge portion slices through the hard rubber Shoe Goo nice and straight with a pull or push cut and with a lot less friction.

Used my Byrd Rescue to impress my coworkers by decapitating a water bottle multiple times, without tipping it over. :D

How's that SE treating you? I love the N5 and really like the looks of the SE blade. Been looking for an "excuse" to buy one.

I really like my Hawkbill despite the blade shape taking up extra pocket room. The knife is so much bang for the buck that it borders on absurd! Me. I like the weight of the FRN. I have a SS Crossbill and love the blade, but not so much the weight! I wish that there were FRN scales that would fit! Just my preference.

The Byrd line is such a great value. The Hawkbill does take up a bit of pocket space, but I'm curious how it compares to something like a Manix 2 which is loved by many and regarded as a pocket hog. I just compared my Hawkbill to my wharncliffe Endura and Q Ball, they all seem to have the same closed width. It's honestly never bothered me.

Sometimes I consider swapping the blade back into the FRN handle, but the titanium adds a bit of variety to my mostly FRN knife "collection".

The Byrd Hawkbill is not quite as tall as my Manix 2 lw. But then again, the Byrd Hawkbill may have been lowered a bit when I ground down the kick on the ricasso/choil. Got tired of seeing daylight between the scallops and the handle. :p Maybe I'm a little OCD.

The Bow River and Z-cut (PE pointy) helped cut up a bunch of fruit and vegetables for a big fruit bowl and shish kebabs. The Waterway was used for the beef.
