Broke in Santa's Gift to insert some new screens for my windows. I typically like long blades for EDC, but small blades work better for projects for me. This is my first Native 5.

I've used the spine of a PM2 before on our back slider door before to repair the damage of our dog seeing a bunny in the backyard. The spine fit perfectly in the track to reinstall the screen under the rubber seal.

I could definitely see that!

Usually I only post in this thread when I have used my Spydie for some really unusual/ extraordinary / funny task.

But for a change just a regular day to day task:

Used my Manix for quickly making a long hiking pole that made it easier to get up some really steep and muddy/snowy slopes in the woods.

Top three going by pocket-time (update March 24):

Used the Burnt Orange Mantra 2 LW to carve up a fire-roasted vegetable pizza-like object. :winking-tongue

Your Mantra almost looks like my Manix shown above.. :winking-tongue

Very astute observation, Wartstein. Yes the B.O. Mantra 2 LW is the rarest expression of the Mantra 2 where there are only two know examples out in the wild. And as a mater of fact it is frequently confused with the more numerous B.O. Manix 2. (at least in my head, now watch for fakes on alibooboo.com) :rofl

I don't even own a Mantra 2, I don't know where that came from. ;)

Tried to get rid of the lockstick on my Watu. Didn't succeed in that task but it did cut some meat anyway afterwards.

Really, detent knives only bring me problems ! Everyone of the detent based knives I have have some level of lock stick (since new) except my Maxamet Para 3 :no-mouth
:respect In the collection :respect : Lots of different steels, in lots of different (and same) Spydercos.

Used the Lil’Nilakka to cut some vinyl base molding into smaller pieces that fit in a garbage can. Unfortunately I wasn’t practicing knife safety 101. Made a cut that went towards my hand that was holding the strips. Went through a bit easier than I was expecting and I managed to get my left hand pretty good. 8 stitches good. I saw my finger bone and some small tendons. Spoiler before and after pics if anyone is interested. Blood warning (not much, but still…)

Ouch. I thought lopping the side of the tip off my social finger hurt (it did). But I just needed a head slap and some liquid bandaid.

But hey, it’s not every day you get to see your own bone. Cherish the moments :winking-tongue

Yep. We all need to be reminded about safe handling and use sometimes. But honestly, the cut didn’t hurt really. Scared me more than anything. The numbing shots injected directly inside the cut is what got me.

Second bone of mine I’ve seen. First was my almost entire fibula, from ankle to knee, after a mowing accident. Fun fact: your bones aren’t really white. More of a yellowish-pinkish. I remember when I was staring down at my open leg seeing that yellow bone and thinking “****, I gotta quit smoking”.

Nice!

I cleaned a fat/heavy one with my Black & Red Zome satin Endela, this past Monday; and another fat/heavy one this morning with my mod'd drop point LC200N Salt 2.
Not that there is much to cleaning a squirrel, but both did an exceptional job, as you may expect...
Neighbors cat absolutely LOVES it when I clean/"butcher" squirrels as she gets he scraps. I've nick named her "Droolie", lol
