Carried my Military all day and only used it for two things so far: opening some mail, and opening some donuts.

Man, what a great knife.
I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.

Trying out another PM2 and a tanto - helping me diagnose and fix a malfunctioning laser head.

I must say this is one beefy blade. I've already used it a couple times for some medium pry work. Laughed it right off. Blade-wise, it is a completely different knife from the standard PM2. Not even close.

I never experienced the appeal and function of tanto blades, and am still a bit skeptical, but you never know until you try, right?
I do like that it's CPM M4.

Actually I'm looking forward to the Kydex sheath you were going to do for the Z-Cut. :)

Had five copies of this book at one point. Just gave away my last loaner, so started ordering new copies to share.

Its my favorite fictional work by a long shot.

Cut 300 linear feet of paper last night at work while making file jackets. In a year's time, my knives will cut ~3,000 feet at work doing this task.

We got some late gifts from family that lives some distance from us. I've been meaning to put the Bug to work. It did well on package opening duty!

I keep a Roadie hanging on the key rack beside the door. We get a lot of packages, nowadays, to open. The Roadie is perfect for that. I have used it twice today, so far.

Still using my PD-1 Mule Team to slice apples, then an onion, avocado, and tomato to make salads. I'm surprised that the acidity of the onions and tomatoes haven't put much of a patina on the steel. (unlike 52100)

Being relative to Cruwear, it's going to take quite a bit of acidic foods to patina. One of the "perks" of Cruwear for people that don't like a patina or don't want to take the time to care for the blade like you would have to with 52100. It's regarded as an all around great steel, a happy medium for many characteristics. Would like to read some more feedback besides kitchen use though ;)

Unfortunately for my Native 5, freehand sharpening practice. I should really buy something cheaper for this...
