Cutting up some cardboard!

Whoa!

RickC27, you have achieved the impossible - you have outdone Ankerson at cutting cardboard. :p

I actually thought of him when I took that pic this morning haha. Was thinking, Ankerson would have a field day at my work. No need for a hydraulic bale cutter when we have Ankerson!

Today, I spotted it. I had to do it. I snuck up on it then pulled out my Manix 2 LW and...sliced open that plastic bag of bread flour.

Then, I made a fresh loaf of garlic bread, from scratch, for the spaghetti feast tomorrow.

That is some very precise cutting, nice and even. I'm still getting the hang of it myself, struggled a bit with a cucumber the other day. Stubborn me opted to keep practicing instead of simply grabbing the potato peeler though.

Thanks! I learned to cut my orange peels as a kid, and once during lunch on the submarine I served on, I peeled a delicious grapefruit just so.

It's skin was thick enough to rewind and hide the seams, so I jokingly put the empty skin back into the fruit pile. A senior enlisted (grumpy torpedoman chief) fell for my trap, as evidenced by the swearing we all heard from our seats.
:D :p

I do sometimes miss the service, if for nothing else, for our antics and camaraderie.

Attila,

Thanks for your service.
I was a CT from '66-'70 and served with COMNAVFOR Japan from '67-'69.
Were you home ported in Yokosuka by chance?

That is so true.

Was discussing this the other day with a couple of people who work with me and the "banter", jokes etc
that keep the workplace fun.

Used my KW CF M4 PM2 to prune back some over grown grape vines. The 400grit CBN edge slashed thru 3/4" vines like butter!

Opened some boxes with my new Spydiechef. Wouldn’t use a box cutter or “utility knife” if I had one. Which is crazy I guess.

Not crazy at all. I'm sure the vast majority of us would opt for using one of our knives over a box cutter any day.
