Sliced up some steak for lunch. Calypso cuts like butter
Re: What did you use your Spyderco for last?
Great looking knife and man that steak looks like it’s cooked perfectly. Nice sear and juicy inside. Pan fry I’m assuming?Tristan_david2001 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 20, 2023 11:20 am8D120544-EA1C-433A-BF47-A3A26199D07A 3.jpg8A2722BE-F711-4B3B-A00F-C589553FD51B 2.jpg

Was there lock rock after that?
Re: What did you use your Spyderco for last?
This one came from the factory with a little more lock rock than Seki City backlocks typically have, but it hasn't gotten any worse. It still feels solid enough and isn't really noticeable in use. The lockbar sits a little high when the lock is engaged and if anything I feel like that's "settled in" a bit more with time, if that makes sense.

The most underrated fruit right there.

Re: What did you use your Spyderco for last?
Really is. My kid had been a kick with them for a couple months, but decided she'd had enough so I started bringing them with me to work to finish them off. Been a good 10 years since I've had a kiwi, definitely underrated!! I think people are afraid of the fuzz haha.

Re: What did you use your Spyderco for last?
My apologies, this isn't a Spyderco. Don't even know what brand knife the boy is using. But I thought this knife-related good deed should be posted somewhere around here, and I wasn't going to start a new thread in OT. I already had a short-lived thread sometime back in OT about 'positive knife use stories' or something like that, but it's impossible for me to find at this point without scrolling through my entire post history.
