I must have caught a straggler at KW. I randomly checked at 1:40 and they showed to be in stock and let me order one. I went back afterwards and said out of stock. I’m not going to get too excited until I actually get a shipping notice.
Somebody at KW is messing with us, flicking the in stock and out of stock button on and off. :D

Knifeworks in stock. Good luck!
And gone!
this is crazy :spyder:
Patience and persistence are key.
Maybe in a month, there will be stores with unsold caly jr’s. The lil nillakka is like that. Still can be found. Others, like the rex45’s really are all gone. More are coming. Hopefully, enough for us all.

I feel like these are just trickling out slower than other recent Sprints have, but that a larger chunk of them will become available and the acute shortage will lessen. I find it hard to believe that a majority of of the 1200 have already dropped. This is still a relatively obscure model, at least compared to P3 and PM2.

I think the Endura V-toku2 sprint (first of the V-toku2) was kind of like this where the first few days they were only in stock for a few minutes. But later they were more readily available.

For this sprint, this is at least a week where they have been very scarce.

Agree that patience and persistence pays off. That and some timing luck!

Not to freak anyone out who hasn’t picked one up yet, but there’s no way these are going to sit on any shelves anywhere for long. It has been 11 years since the last Calypso Jr. release and judging by the scarcity of the Super Blue Caly 3 and 3.5, this knife - priced at half the G10 versions’ original cost and uncladded - will not stick around at these prices for long on the primary market. These are pretty special. :)

Hey! You’re right!

But too bad my order also contains a Dragonfly 2 V-Toku2. I guess I won’t be seeing my Calypso Jr. until next year, lol!

BladeHQ is squared away. I doubt that's going to happen.

I always do my pre-orders as separate orders for this reason. You might be able to call them and ask to split the order. If you do, make sure you won't lose your place in line for the DF2.

Just got one at Blade HQ. still in stock after I ordered.

I’ve always been one to say that pre orders aren’t needed. I’ve never missed a sprint I wanted. This one was close.

Big thanks to Lorelei! Got one at BHQ. I'll keep my eyes peeled at National Knives because I really like Rob and would like to continue giving him my business (plus free shipping!) but I'm glad I got one secured!

I'm really looking forward to this as I missed the super blue train last time and the aftermarket prices for Dflys and Delicas were insane.
