Sweet! I think I finally scored one and seems to be the last one. I went back to see if showed still in stock after I purchased and now isn’t showing in stock. Guess I can go ahead and cancel orders I placed at other places and never received shipping info.joeldworkin307 wrote: ↑Thu Sep 13, 2018 4:11 pmJust placed an order with sherpers. Tried to order 2 and they refused, but they let me buy 1. Hoping the single knife limit means they are in stock. And I did get an order confirmation email.

Such is life! I’m very happy with the knives I’ve been able to score over the last couple months, and I need to chill anyway.

Seems like a good size knife for in pocket carry.

Haha, yw
Still the best "crazy deal" I've come across. That was my first Calypso Jr. Up to 3 now with the black serrated, gray vg10, and now the SB. Want a pe micarta one badly, but keep missing out when they come up at good prices.

Oops! Sorry, I meant to say the clip orientation isn't as bad as I thought. But it is also small enough that it might be good for clipless carry too.
I will say that putting it in my pocket tip down is going to take some getting used to. I keep catching myself trying to put it in my pocket tip up. Oh well variety is good! Can't wait to get using this one so I can sharpen it and see what this Super Blue stuff is all about.

Great! I'm really glad to hear you and a few others had a chance to buy them from the heads up...it's always nice when they sprints end up in our hands at non-flipper prices:)
Now I just hope we start getting shipping confirms:)

Just had my Sherper's order cancelled. They said there was a glitch in their system that didn't update the stock on the knife. They did send a 10% off coupon to use on a future order.
The search continues.

Ahhh man, that really sucks! National knives is a good place to check once in a while. Good people to deal with and I didn't see them post any up yet.

Thank you. I suppose his was the one taken out for pics, and the seller forgot to put it back in. It came in a plastic ziplock style bag.RadioactiveSpyder wrote: ↑Thu Sep 13, 2018 3:08 pmThey absolutely should come standard with the paper. Looks like the eBay seller removed it for some reason (which is a bit lame ).
Re: Spyderco Calypso Jr. Sprint Run Knife Gray (Aogami Super Blue)
Thanks, rgrad, I appreciate it! National wasn't on my radar, so it's great to get another line in the water, so to speak.
Re: Spyderco Calypso Jr. Sprint Run Knife Gray (Aogami Super Blue)

The blade has a thin layer of oil on it. It appears much thinner than mineral oil.
What is the oil? What oil should I coat the blade with for maintenance?
