Sal.What happens with the Spyderco importer?

#1

Post by valenciamanu »

I promised a friend that I would try to get ultrafine stones for him.
He is a good friend and we interbreed knives.
So I entrusted them to a nearby local store
They work a lot with the Spyderco importer in Spain.
Although more other products such as hunting sights.
I consulted with the importer and they told him that they had them in stock.
But the importer spent a month giving long.
In the end we bought a Lansky because we tired of listening to excuses for a month.
Even the shopkeeper was upset that they sent him a large order of hunting rifles and not the stones.
What I do not know is the reason for this.
It was always said that he had very good service but the truth is another.
As it is not the first time I have problems with the importer I have decided not to buy more from them.
It's a shame because there is no other Spyderco importer.
A greeting

Hola Valenciamanu,

Please accept my apologies for your difficulties. Are looking for ultra fine triangle stones, or flat stones? I will forward this to our international in-house people and we will take care of you.

Thank you very much for the reply.
My friend already got them.
For another supplier from another country.
In the end I will give you a lansky.
I wanted to give away the Spyderco Stones but it could not be.
I have them for a long time and they are wonderful
I just wanted to comment on my experience with the official importer
A greeting and Thank you

Why didn't you try Amazon?

https://www.amazon.es/Spyderco-204UF1-P ... s=spyderco
I prefer to buy in a local store
Stores where they have always behaved very well.
And where we meet to talk about knives.
Also the problem is not the shopkeeper.
If not from the importer.
I prefer to change the product to buy elsewhere.

+1 another member from Spain, also curious about what importer you're talking about. I know two importers that have online storefronts in our country who have been a pleasure to deal with these last 4 years :spyder:

I doubt you will be disappointed with the Lansky anyway.
They have a great range and with a bit of experience (and some pasted strops) you can get everything from a toothy edge through to those instagram worthy mirrors for a lot less than other systems.
