Does anyone know the pressure rating for the Gunting? Like how many pounds it takes for the lock to snap? Thanks.

If I remember correctly I have read that most of the time another part of the knife fails before the locks do. Rest assured the Gunting is of the highest rating MBC.

Thanks Carlos!!!
I never come over to this side of the forum..
But more importantly than pounds... mine's biggest whatever...The Gunting is the first knife made to be used against the lock..It was actually designed that way...
It can take everything you can dish out..it was made to trap against the lock..
You'd have to shear out the anvil pin AND the liner finger to defeat the lock..not going to happen in real time usage..even in street combat..
And in testing it far exceeded its stated ratings anyways..

be safe

I don't think there is anyone that powerful to break the lock of the Gunting (while using it, not with sledgehammer or who knows what other "tests&quot.
Thanks Bram. Can't wait to see the Tusok how it performs. Not the lock, I know it's incredibly strong, but overall
