Hey guys, just out of curiosity how was your knife's action out of the box?

Hate to say it but mine is a tad bit on the stiff side, it does not get loose when the compression lock is fully compressed either.

Just now as I attempted to index flick it (I had a couple of successful attempts earlier, and was enjoying the Shaman the past couple of days
so I felt ballsy).

Sure enough the pm2 FLEW out my hand half deployed, first reaction was: "OH **** MY BABY" And I wanted to stretch my hands to it. Than instinct kicked in "oh s*** it's flying knife".

Happy to report the knife suffered no damage and LITERALLY looks unchanged. I spent a good 10 minutes starring at every details up and down in the light, testing the action and it feels the same. SO aside from the stiff, stiff action.... this knife's finish and materials are built like a tank. A smooth, glossy nice to the touch sharp as a scalpel tank.

Mine was stiff.

If you haven't already done so: try washing it out with water really good, then dry it out well with compressed air, lube the pivot again, see if that helps. It did for me. Now mine is perfect.

Mine was very stiff. It’s the first PM2 I had loosen the pivot on right out of the box.

I did not loosen my pivot and the action is perfect now. 50% of the time the blade falls free from gravity after depressing the lock.

Use it for 10 days, flick it open and closed when you're bored.

Nice picture. Thanks for posting that. I was just about to order a lynch clip and was debating on Sandwash or Black. Black it is.

I've become a big buyer if mxg clips. And they're always in stock. This is my 2nd favorite version (deep carry). They have a slightly less deep cary that fits flush with edge on pm2 and Manix 2.

My knife looks great except some loctite under the clip. I thought I saw that posted in another post on this thread but I couldn't find it. What is a good solvent for the loctite that won't hurt the G10?

Thanks

Is this under the original tip down factory clip location after moving it to tip up? I thought it was semi polished, never thought it was loctite. Gonna try some denatured alcohol myself to see.

I think some of it is flattened by the clip but it looks on mine like there is a puddle of loctite from the clip screws

Loving the edge I get on this knife after 1200 grit diamond stone and 1 micron stropping. It's been a week worth a decent amount of use (hundreds of inches of cardboard, various abrasive materials) and it still slices newspaper with very few hangs.

Finally stepping up my edc game! I've always wanted a PM2 but had settled for a Tenacious and it served me well for a long time. But when I saw this sprint run and learned about cruwear I knew it was time. Can't wait for it to show up!

Wasn't so into the right angled edges, or the smooth texture of the G10 scales. Better now...
