If I didn’t already have the grey version I would buy in a heart beat. One of my favorite steels. Do it!

Well, I was about to post my own thread but I’ll just ask here, I’ve never had cruwear anything. Is it noticeably better than s30v? I’ve only got 1 pm2 and I’m really tempted to get this one.

That may be part of the problem
I really don't know how it compares to S30V. But I'm looking forward to finding out.
I do have a knife in CRUWEAR (Para 3), but it doesn't get as much use as my PM2s do.

I'd really like color other than black but I don't have a knife in cruwear yet so I may pull the trigger. Maybe put the jade scales i took off my m4 pm2 on it.

CRUWEAR is awesome. In my experience it holds an edge longer than s30, it’s as easy to sharpen, and seems to take a keener edge. The downside is that it isn’t as stain resistant, but I haven’t had any staining issues so far.anycal wrote: ↑Sat May 05, 2018 3:28 pmkingston73 wrote: ↑Sat May 05, 2018 2:53 pmWell, I was about to post my own thread but I’ll just ask here, I’ve never had cruwear anything. Yeah Cru-wear is awesome stuff... most say it's "almost" stainless. The one cruwear knife I've owned only saw light use but never had a hint of staining at all.illacky wrote: ↑Sat May 05, 2018 8:54 pmCRUWEAR is awesome. O come on Black is beautiful! At least to us traditionalists. Give me black G10 or carbon fiber any day over flavor of the day colors! :)

Well... there goes another 150 dollars to the Golden. I literally bought a lc200n mule and got a good deal on a native 5 fluted titanium on Flebay($172, should be here tomorrow and I am exited). Told myself I'd cool it until the Parata comes out, but now this... I did not expect another Cruwear to come out, and the "Smooth G-10" sounds like it's going to be awesome.
I own the Shaman and if it is anything like that (not contoured but in terms of smoothness) this knife will be badass... Off to Knifecenter to create an
account!

Got the cruwear pm2 sprint run back then, convinced me to get the cru para 3 even though I don't even care much for it. With the fact that I now own a S110V, m390, cruwear and regular old s30v I thought I had all I wanted. Got a zt 0450 and 940-1 along those and 2 caly 3 and a pakkawood delica HAP40 sprints for small edc, and that would do it right? Those of my fav Knive, steels and a box full of other spydies, all else is overkill. Right? Cruwear is my favourite steel to use, sharpen and play ps4 with (it never beats me, but never complains about it.) So why did I just preorder it? Gonna switch the g10 with the blurple scales though.
My cruwear para 3 was a bit forgotten and put away with some substance or liquid on it for a few days and it did leave its spots. Nothing that bothers me at all honestly, I'm all about performance and reliability. But it was my bad, no doubt. Normally I'd clean the blade before putting it back on its velvet blanket, dim the lights and set the temperature just a tad above room temp. My cruwear pm2 is spotless and completely healthy though.rivy wrote: ↑Sat May 05, 2018 8:57 pmYeah Cru-wear is awesome stuff... most say it's "almost" stainless. Re: KnifeCenter Exclusive CPM-Cruwear Paramilitary 2
How does it compare to maxamet?
Re: KnifeCenter Exclusive CPM-Cruwear Paramilitary 2
Considerably more corrosion resistant and far less wear resistant than Maxamet.

Looks like my account was charged on Friday for this. Wonder if it will be inbound soon?
Re: KnifeCenter Exclusive CPM-Cruwear Paramilitary 2
In addition to what attila said, cruwear will be significantly tougher than maxamet as well.

And as a result, much easier (quicker) to sharpen as well.

Sorry for the false alarm. My wife picked me up a parka delica as a surprise gift, so that was what the charge was for. I think she is a keeper!EngDevGr3 wrote:Any update on this?Username827 wrote: ↑Sun May 13, 2018 3:16 pmLooks like my account was charged on Friday for this. Wonder if it will be inbound soon?
