Never mind, the feeling grew on me and I plan to keep it as is. This one sounds be easier on the pockets.
Haha, that's a quick turnaround! Glad to hear it.

Thanks for the pictures, I'm sure they're of assistance to people who aren't sure about it too. Looks excellent!
I plan to make this my new go-to pm2, I'm somewhat afraid of getting too rough on my sprint version which I consider my finest edition of them all, seconded by the red m390 one which I usually carry instead. After carrying the (sorry?) bm 940-1 and 940-2 I've come to like the smooth feeling of their g10 and carbon fiber, I'd love to have a pm2 in it as well.

Mine is a perfect example. I really like the G10. I usually carry a black G10 Fully Serrated S30v Pm2 in my back pocket, so this makes for a neat dual carry. As usual, Fit and finish is perfect, razor sharp, perfect centering, and a little tight to drop freely, which is what I expect, because they wear in nicely, and fairly quickly.

I received my pair today. Overall- very nice!
It's funny, I find the scales have more texture than I was expecting. Nowhere near as much as peel ply but provide a nice comfortable grip. Blades are centered, well ground, and very sharp. Overall, for the money, may bump the brown s35vn as my overall favorite PM2.

It was little tight; binding. Loosening screws wasn’t enough. I’m sure I could have broken it in over time.

All good now. I do like the feel of the scales.

Did you polish the base of the blade and washers? With what strop and what compound? Did it fix it?

The delivery date on mine just got bumped up to Thursday, can't wait.

To what extent? I figured it wasn't incredibly fine.

Did you ...
I normally run my ultra fine tri-stone over the pivot area inside of the liners and over the pivot area of the blade. I found no burrs. Also run the washers over the stone.

But there was something shinny (threadlocker?) under the original position of the clip, and between the liners and scales on both sides. I wasn't able to remove it with alcohol. Had to scrape it off from the scales. What ever it was, it found its way between the pivot barrel and the pivot hole on the blade. The blade wasn't moving freely, and was difficult to remove from the pivot. Cleaned it out, and all was good.

From what I've seen on my Para 3 and pictures of others' PM2s and Para 3s, it's just what in the picture looks dark against the satin of the rest of the blade. It's effectively mirror polished to provide a smooth surface for the detent ball to slide on.

I really like this one. The smooth g10 feels really nice. This one is a perfect specimen on the centering, grind, etc. As much as I like the smooth g10, the practical side of me is wanting to give it some very slight texture since I have almost dropped it a few times.

Got mine in the mail yesterday. At first, the g10 took some getting used to, but all is well now.
Might be up there as one of my favorite knives. This one is great! :)
