How about something small like the Jester? Everyone wants one anyways.
Yep! Put an interesting steel on it and no one is saying no to that.

Jester in Maxamet or K390 would be pretty cool. Or ZDP (if it's made in Japan).

I guess I'm the odd man out here. Much as I favor midlock knives with 50/50 choils, FFG blades in decently stainless steels and scales made of "anything but peel-ply" for personal use, none of those things matter when it comes to forum knives. If Spyderco were to offer a 2018 Spyderco Forum Knife, then regardless of lock (or lack of same), design, grind, steel, or scale material, I'd be on board for it.

I would be interested in any new forum knife, but my tastes lately have been towards less belly and more wharncliffe designs. I'd love to see something new and unique like Roman was pointing out about the 2009 and 2013 forum knives. How about a Jester, Caly 3 or Manix in a wharncliffe blade shape?

This.

That being said, I like the warnie Delica idea because:
-It’s a perfect example of why Spyderco and this forum are unique
-Itd be easy, or at least straightforward, to do a different color FRN and etch the blade
-It’d be legal (and easy) for most to carry
-It’d be affordable

I like the Delica Wharnie idea. It's ALREADY a forum knife!

My vote would be for no blade etch, but rather a tang stamp with the forum designation. Hap40 would be cool but unlikely since it's already coming in a sprint, so...whatever steel that's not VG10.

THIS THIS THIS!!!!! I HATE the blade etch, like on the edc forum knives with moonglow! I want one so bad, but I would have to throw away that butt ugly etched blade. I wouldn't even sell it, it doesnt deserve to exist!

A tang stamp or maybe etch the spine of the blade/lockbar where it's more subtle.

The British blade forum exclusive Urban Lightweight featured their forum logo etched on the blade and their name etched on the backspacer... Looked really great IMO

How about a Native 5 LW in Gray FRN with CTS-XHP?

Or a Jazzlica in CTS-XHP?

I'm likely down for whatever, just would like to see more forum knives. Jazzlica does seem like the natural choice though. K390? :)

Everyone's suggestion has been great, and would make fun knives to own. But I really do think a forum knife based on suggestions by a forum member makes the most sense. This is why I've been pushing for a Jazz Delica. I do really like the idea of inscribing the tang / bar lock of the knife.

Jazzlica in CTS-XHP or LC200N with linerless FRN...in light gray and toxic green (respectively). I can dream...right?
