I would love to see a collaboration with Cold Steel.
A Recon 1 with a compression lock and a Military with a Triad lock.

Not sure if I would go for those two ideas you presented but I do like the idea of a Cold Steel and Spyderco collaboration. Cold Steel has recently hit the market with a couple of Hawkbill blades with CTS-XHP blades. That got my attention on a very serious level because those are really nice quality Hawkbills and the first company that I've seen go head to head with Spyderco on Hawkbill blades. It would be most interesting to see the two companies do a collaboration on a Hawkbill model. Also I've always liked Cold Steel's fillet knives>> that might be another possibility as well.

But I do indeed like your idea of Cold Steel-Spyderco joint venture.

I think the collaboration that would interest me the most would be With Dalibor bergam, Or with Peter Rassenti with his Alpha model.

A collab with Gary Creely would be interesting as well.

I am living in a dream world, lol. It's pretty nice. :D

There is one that I don't believe can even happen at this point but for years I was wishing that it would come to life>> I'm speaking of the late, great knife designer Phil Boguszewski and Spyderco collaborating. When I first got into collecting and using premium grade folders and fixed blades one of the very first I got about the same time I got my first Spyder ( 1995) was the Benchmade model 640 Boguszewski Spike model. It was no doubt my most used "non-Spyderco" knife I ever had. I for sure know I'm not the only fan of the late Phil Boguszewski's knives because I've heard other Brethren here at Spyderville speak highly of his "Spike" models.

But Massad Ayoob on the other hand is still alive and well and I've often wondered what he could come up with to succeed the C-60 model. With the brilliance that went into that Spyderco C-60 design it just seems not right that he would stop at that model. Even a modified version of the C-60 with a newer/better blade steel and G-10 handle would just be great anyway you look at it.

That's my latest .02 cents but those would be two possibilities with great potential IMO.

I had never heard of that guy "Gavko">> but I went to the website of Arizona Knives which also sells a lot of Phil Boguszewski's stuff too. I was absolutely amazed with some of GAVKO's stuff. That multi-tool is just outright awesome. Also he has some extremely wicked looking Wharncliffe blades and some very nice blades with streamlined designs like I tend to go for.

I'll cast a vote for a Gavko/Spyderco collaboration. Albeit I would like to see that multi-tool of his more than anything else. I encourage all of you to check out his work. I better start paying more attention to the custom stuff.

I have looked at most stuff made by "Gavko". And some of his Wharnies are just absolutely tactical and wicked. But I'm still awestruck by the one Multi-Tool of his that they are selling over at Arizona Knives. If him and Spyderco could get together on a multi-tool I would be fighting to get to the front of the line.
