My name is Bob, I am a spyderholic. I became an addict in 1989 at Baltimore's Inner Harbor when I bought my first. Since then I have bought other knives but mostly Spydercos. It is to the point that I don't shop for other brands, the only one I care about is Spyderco. I have thought about it and the only reason I can think of is Sal and company has spoiled me forever.
The brand is untouched IMO in number of models, steel choices, quality and technology. I have never had to return a Spyderco that I have bought for any reason. I am retired and still working part-time to support my Spydie addiction (not really but it sounds good lol)

I just recently bought three(3) Spydercos from BHQ within three(3) weeks.
