Which model Spydie knife is this?

#1

Post by 500Nitro »

Hi, been looking around for Used Serrated Enduras and came across this.

Person selling says has had it in his collection for 30+ years.

Had s look but couldn't see exactly what model it is or the caribiner.

I know the people here will nail it quickly.
I'm a bit wary that it may be a fake.

They've got US$50 on it. Thought it was a bit steep and I'm not that price sensitive!!!

Thanks in anticipation.

Anyone one experienced with the clip at either end ?

Is the clip at the pivot end a hinderance ?

Is it worth $50?

The Snap-It isn't ideal for left handed use, since the clip interferes with opening unless you're a flicker. The clip might also interfere with making deep cuts in some materials and, at least on the PE version, with sharpening. The Remote Release (3 knives on the right in Reject's photo) is more hand neutral. Either one is better than a pocket clip in those limited situations where you want a knife attached to the outside of your clothing or equipment without fear of loss if it snags on something. Neither is a good choice in situations where you want to carry clipped, but still be discreet. As for value, current yellow Snap-It Salt has an MSRP of $140 and a street price around $91.

Thank you. I like that remote release one.
Very nice.

I think I might pass on this as not a fan of things getting in the way of the blade.

I'll put the $50 towards a Pacific Salt in Yellow or Endura 4 instead or another used Endura.
