all i want is an od green manix 2 lw with a stonewashed lc200n blade and a matching native.

i'd also take the same pair blacked out.

and while we're making requests, since we're allowed to take knives apart now, can we replace the pins on the manix with screws? i have a small rust spot developing on my xhp manix and i can't get to it to clean it. it's quite frustrating and unnecessary. that is the only thing stopping the manix from being the perfect knife.

I know I am in the minority but I still want to see an affordable rust-proof iteration of the most classic models with FRN and LC200/H1

- Military Salt, PM 2 Salt, Manix Salt, Stretch Salt, etc.

well I am sure I'd like to see them, but my wallet on so much!!! :p

I think a lot of people want this! Id really like to see the manix backlock take salt form with yellow frn (not frcp like the manix lw) and lc200n for pe. my preference would be that all the SE are h1 if they could start doing h1 in golden. id love to have a native salt with a SE H1 blade!

Sal, question for ya. Is there a specific reason that some of the Salt models are available with the black coating and some are not? Curious as I'd love to see a Dragonfly with the TiCN coating on the blade and lock bar.

+1! the df2 salt SE is on clipped to my swimsuit as i type this. the df2 salt PE was my very first Spyderco that I had amazon ship to the beachhouse i was staying at. the df2 in general is my 2nd favorite model behind the Native 5. I love the Salt series and a blacked out df2 is one of the things i wish for most!

I'd like to see more metal thread inserts for the clip screws like on the Native 5 LW and the CQI G10 Native 5. Every Spyderco I've owned or handled where the clip screws thread into thin steel liners has had a wobbly clip. The much thicker Ti liners under the G10/CF scale side of the Dice and Domino are the only Spydercos I've had where clip wobble isn't a problem.

I'd also like to see more folders of all handle materials without steel liners. They just add weight and trap moisture under the scales. The Native 5 LW and Manix 2 LW have shown that current synthetic handles are strong enough to not need liners. The rust risk of a cost cutting steel liner rather a Ti liner caused the upcoming Brouwer to go from must buy to probably won't buy for me.

An updated Kiwi with rounded scales, like the ones I’ve seen modded here, or similar other slender “gentleman” knives with fancy scales.

Manix 2 LW Salt would be fantastic.

I would bet that if the Native Salt is a success, Spyderco will look at expanding that effort to other Golden models.

But then the spring and ball must be H1 as well? Can they do that?

If not, they could probably do a Manix 2 Backlock Salt in FRN like the Native. That might be the better option since I believe they could use FRN instead of the FRCP in the Manix LW that a lot of people dont like. This would definitely be my preference.

I’d like to see coke bottle contouring of the handle scales as opposed to flat and thin. Something like the Bark River Gunny grip on a paramilitary 2 or para 3 would be awesome!
