A Couple of Millie Exclusives

Just got these from Knife Works. These are a great deal in my opinion. The CTS204P steel in green especially so since its about what you pay for a plain Jane Millie.

The Reeves lock is on the S90V model reminiscent of the Domino and Dice models and is a really nice touch, really well executed. Well done Spyderco!!

The two shared by the OP would be great ones to start with. I'm thinking hard about that S90v.

Yes, couple :(

The truth is, three would be great! I'm looking forward to the next one, what ever that may be...

Any predictions/wishes? In steel from Golden, I'd take re-release of CRUWEAR, with CQI.

I'd be all over a Maxamet Military. I'm really surprised it hasn't happened yet.

Edit: well I just got the call for work. I was laid off on the 1st and didn't know for how long, so I didn't want to spend much money.
That sucks!! I am sorry to hear that.

Congratulations ! VERY nice. If I didn't already have a Military I would look closely at getting one of those. I have a CMP-D2 Millie, and frankly it doesn't get used very much....not that I don't like it, or think the design and execution arn't great. I guess I just end up reaching for something else out of habit. I did take it with me on a canoe trip down the Rio Grand through Big Bend..and it was very efficient. I don't think I used the fixed blade I brought along much at all!

Guys, the more I handle the Ti/Carbon fiber S90V, the better I like it. I really feel like a made a great buy. I can't say enough good things about these two Millies. This is the kind of knife that Sal does very, very well. This is in the wheel house for Spyderco.

I've carried a Military on a regular basis for at least 20 years. I agree this is one knife that is designed extremely well. I cannot imagine not owning one.

Both of mine came in this week, too! I remember you posting about your purchase on my thread about my purchase.

I gotta say though, I think I like the CPS-204p G10 more!
More K390 and 10V, please.

I am drooling over that KW 204P.

I am hoping Spyderco will make the Millie in K390 some day (or a Manix 2 XL).

Has Spyderco sorted out the issues (if any? ) with the PM 2 maxamet yet?

I love the Knifeworks exclusives and bought them when released, now they are "On Sale"
C36CFTIP Release Price was $279.95...Now $199.95...$80 Less
C36GGRP Release Price was $199.95...Now $179.95...$20 Less

Kinda hurts to be down $100, but you never know on the Exclusives, sometimes they sell out fast.

I appreciate Knifeworks Exclusives, they are some of my favorite Spyderco's:
MANIX 2 80 MM BB #C101GPBGY521002 PLAIN EDGE G-10 DK GRAY 52100
PARA-MILITARY 2 #C81GPGR2 PLAIN EDGE G-10 GREEN CTS-204P
PARA-MILITARY 2 #C81CFM4P2 PLAIN EDGE CARBON FIBER CPM M4
MILITARY #C36GTIP PLAIN EDGE G-10 TITANIUM CPM M4
MILITARY #C36GGRP PLAIN EDGE G-10 GREEN CTS-204P
MILITARY #C36CFM390P PLAIN EDGE CARBON FIBER M390

I am with you; they are worth the original asking price.

Ive had the Cruwear, S90V, S30V, and have used the s110v Millie.
And I have the 52100 Millie.
My favorite is the Green 204P version. It's just wonderful!
She gets every bit as sharp as the 52100 Millie, but is stainless.
I will get another for a backup before they are gone.
It's an amazing deal for $179.....

Hey that 204P is a smoother opener for sure. I think the RIL on the S90V model offers a bit more resistance than the liner lock. I do like the green color on the 204P.
