If anyone is going to be at the Sydney Knife Show this weekend Down Under they could pick up one of my customs :D I have only just started making them again after a bit of a hiatus earlier in the year due to travel and renovations at home. Making them has renewed my love for this design. Glad you all like it too.

I'm going to have to pick one of these up, such a great design.

Glad you joined. Guess I misunderstood. When Ali (Cubane) said he was going to have custom versions at the show and you said that you were going to have to pick one up, I thought you were referring to the custom version. My bad.

Alistair Phillips is an Australian custom knife maker that designed the Kapara (redback spider) that the thread is about. Oz is a slang for Australia. My apology.

Unlikely to at this stage. I haven't been to Perth since I was a little kid. We went out to see the Pinnacles and I still remember it.

Not yet, but I've been admiring the Amsterdam meet pics recently, and I'm really looking forward to it now.

Can’t wait for this to be released! For me, and others I’m sure,this is one of the most anticipated new models in the last couple years. I will definitely get the s30v model, but am even more excited at the idea of sprint/de steel options as others on this thread have noted. I’d buy a s90v version in a hot sec.
Hope this drops before the new year....

Great news! This will be my only Spyderco purchase of the year. Hopefully they are out and in stock at Blade West!
