I am a bit embarrassed, but I can't afford to attend the Show. On a more positive note; I can afford, and would like to have a Spyderco name tag.

As many others have said Sal, I will not be able to attend this year due to finances and vacation plans already made. I would however be willing to pay a reasonable amount to have a unique Spydie piece of kit branded with my forum name. It would also be a great addition to "tag" our photo shares with here on the forum. Glad you decided to follow up and I hope these come to fruition.

Not sure if I'm going to make it to Blade this year, but I'd definitely be up for a Spyderco forum nametag.

Sal,
Thanks for following up with this idea. I got exited when it first came out a couple of months ago. I am going to Blade again this year and will gladly purchase one of these.

So what’s wrong with old secret handshake with slightly scarred hands and over-developed thumb?

I kid. Neat idea for the lucky people who can go.

I was thinking about making a "screen name" name tag for the Blade magazine show. My thought are listed below, but I'm open.

A stainless bug about 1" in diameter with your screen name engraved in bold. On a cord to be worn around the neck during the show? Maybe with a date?

This has come up briefly but I didn't follow up. So now I'm following up. We have to begin now if it's going to happen.

Anyone interested and going to the show?

sal
yes, but I need to know if the stainless bug name tag will be VG-10 or Elmax ? ;)

H1 or LC200N, obviously. Need that rustproof or nearly stainless quality for those of us who sweat a lot and soak the shirts that the name tags will be attached to ;)

Name tag is great. Would love one.

I'd like to throw something up for the future. How about a Spyderco "Challenge" Coin ?

Like the ones used by the military. These are from the 'net.

I am starting to seriously consider coming down to Eugene for the show this year.

If I can not get a badge I just want to meet the folks :-)

They do make challenge coins. I’d show a picture of one but photobucket is failing me right now. Here’s a link though.
