What if I have my eye on, lets say, 8 Spyderco’s of which I have only purchased 2...do future Spyderco’s count as a Collection/Obsession?? :D lol

I believe one can be a collection if there is desire and intention to get more.

By definition, you have more than one item, so it is a collection.

Is that Cat one of the older 440C versions with jimping?

It depends upon whether you are a Collector or a User.

A User might have a collection of Tools, whereas a Collector will have a Collection.

Maybe .... !!!

I believe 2 or more of something that only need one of, would be considered a collection. Thanx for the interest. Hope you enjoy your time here. We have quite a "collection" of visitors. :p

A collection is defined by the collector. If you think it is a collection then it is.

I’d say yes, it’s a collection. Reasonable people might disagree. My dad has more knives than I do but he doesn’t consider it a collection (because it’s uncurated) and prefers to title it an “accumulation.”
